✨ Things I Wish the Younger Me Knew — Chapter 14

✨ Things I Wish the Younger Me Knew — Chapter 14

Trust the Woman You Are Becoming

Friend, sometimes personal growth feels less like “Look at me, I’ve got this!” and more like “Who even AM I anymore?” 😂💗

But maybe that’s because you’re not supposed to stay the same woman forever.

You’ve walked through heartbreak. You’ve changed your mind. You’ve started over. You’ve learned to set boundaries, trust yourself, and choose differently. Some days you probably don’t even recognize the woman you’re becoming.

"But she fought hard to get here."

I look back at younger me and wish I could tell her: "You’re going to go through some things you never expected. But just wait until you meet the woman on the other side."

She’s wiser. She knows her worth a little better. She still gets scared and definitely does NOT have everything figured out. 😂 But she trusts herself more than she used to.

So, girlfriend, give yourself some credit.

You’re not finished. "You’re becoming. And I think that’s a pretty beautiful place to be." 💗✨

What do you love most about the woman you’re becoming?

—As Sure as the Stars

"As Sure as the Stars" is an ’80s-rooted, real-life-inspired love story about two teenagers whose connection begins beneath the glow of Alaska high-school dances, handwritten notes, cassette tapes, and mixtape-era romance.

Before texting, feelings traveled through letters and fifteen-minute phone calls. But when miscommunication and bad timing separated them, one disconnected landline turned a missed meeting into more than three decades apart.

They were young. They misunderstood each other. But they never completely forgot.

Because some love stories don’t end. Sometimes, they simply lose connection. 🩷📼

This is a story about first love, lost time, forgiveness, faith—and the beautiful possibility that the person you never forgot may never have forgotten you either.

☀️ MONDAY AFFIRMATION: I AM ENOUGH.

Before the emails, expectations, comparison, and Monday-morning to-do list try to convince you otherwise, remember this:

"You are enough right now."

You don’t have to prove your worth by doing more, pleasing everyone, or holding everything together perfectly. Your mistakes don’t make you less worthy. Your unfinished goals don’t make you behind. And needing rest does not make you lazy.

Walk into this new week knowing:

🩷 I am worthy.
🩷 I am growing.
🩷 I am doing the best I can.
🩷 I am enough—exactly as I am.

Say it with me in the comments: "I AM ENOUGH!"

🎃 ONLY GEN X REMEMBERS HALLOWEEN LIKE THIS!

We wore plastic Halloween masks we could barely breathe through, carried orange pumpkin buckets, rented scary movies on VHS, and traded candy like it was serious business. 😂📼🍬

Tell me you grew up in the ’80s without telling me… What October memory instantly takes you back?

Tag the Gen X friend who remembers this—and follow for more ’80s memories with heart. 🩷

Debbie & Jennie. 1985. Sophomores. BFFs. Partners in crime. 😂🩷

We’ve been friends for so long, I honestly can’t remember which one of us was the bad influence. We skipped class, passed notes, talked about boys, danced to Duran Duran, got kicked off the cheerleading squad… and let’s just say our grades weren’t exactly refrigerator-worthy. 🤣

But almost 40 years later? Still BFFs. Still laughing. Still probably a bad influence on each other. 😂 And now we are married to our high school crushes... you never know how life will turn out!

Who was YOUR 80s partner in crime? Tag her! 👇💗
