From Road Trips to Red Carpets: How We Ended Up Hosting America’s Favorite Couple (and Why Your Vote Actually Feeds Families and Saves Oceans)

There are moments in life where you blink a few times—maybe even laugh out loud—because it cannot be real. 💫

This was one of those moments.

One minute, we’re living our normal, slightly chaotic, beautifully full life… and the next, we’re opening an email asking us to share a hosting opportunity… the 2026 America’s Favorite Couple competition, after being crowned the 2025 Americas Favorite Couple last year! Along with actual celebrity couples. Like… Jeff and Emilie Goldblum level of “wait, what?” energy. Add in Ted Danson, (who played Sam from my fav 80s sitcom Cheers…) and Mary Steenburgen, Charlie Day and Mary Elizabeth Ellis… and then somehow—us!

Bryan + Jennie = 💖

A real-life love story that started back when Aqua Net wasn’t just hairspray… it was basically a cloud you could walk through and come out with better hair!

And here’s the thing—it’s not just fun (although trust me, it is very fun). It’s meaningful. It’s full circle. It’s one of those “this is bigger than us” moments.

Because behind the glam and the filming and the red-carpet energy… this actually matters.

Because when you’ve lived it, you don’t just hold it… you carry it for others too.

Picture this: a road trip from Wyoming to Scottsdale, a soul-filling stop in Sedona (because obviously), and me powering through a horrid toothache like a champ—because NOTHING was stopping this moment.

We arrived at this stunning private residence that doubled as our set for the day—welcoming us in with open arms like we were celebrities ourselves. And honestly? It felt like it.

Every corner of the home became a different scene—by the pool, in the kitchen, cozy living spaces, and out on the patio surrounded by the most beautiful, fragrant blooming flowers and that signature Arizona greenery. It was everything.

Springtime in Arizona is my happy place… the warmth, the light, the energy—and being there in April (my birthday month 💫) just made it feel even more meant-to-be.

These moments we were filming? They were actually pre-recordings for the competition launching months later… but standing there in that setting, it already felt like something big was unfolding.

And then…Eight hours of filming, script reading, and more outfit changes than Bryan has probably had in his entire life combined. 😂

At one point he looked at me and said,
“I’ve never changed clothes this many times in one day.”

Welcome to my world, babe. Fashion girl forever.

Hair and makeup? Let’s just say… a slight adjustment for Bryan. 😂

Meanwhile, I was living my best life. Having someone else step in as my personal stylist for a change—choosing the color palette, pulling outfits, styling accessories—it felt like I got to just show up and be taken care of. No planning, no overthinking… just, “Hey, get yourselves here—we’ve got the rest.”

Um, yes please.

And the best part? I instantly bonded with our hair and makeup artist, Coco. Total pro, and within minutes we realized we had so much in common—basically instant friends. Every little hair out of place? She was right there, my wing woman, making sure everything stayed camera-ready.

The motto of the day: Let us take care of you.

And wow… did they ever. On-site glam, thoughtful details, and upgrades all around.

We were officially spoiled.

The whole experience felt surreal, like stepping into something bigger than us—like we were representing not just our story, but every couple who ever believed love deserved a second chance love story!

And somehow… here we are.

🎥The Role: More Than Hosting, It’s Passing the Torch

From being the couple with a story… to helping others believe theirs matters too.

Here’s what surprised me the most.

This wasn’t simply a matter of posing for the camera with a smile and “stand here and read lines.”

We stepped into something that felt meaningful…like a connecting to the new and upcoming competitors…and hoping to create new friendships!

We filmed:

• Welcome videos for new couples
• Dashboard walkthroughs
• Solo segments (yes, I had my moment… and Bryan had his)
• Engagement clips about our relationship, from how we knew “they were the one” to our go-to date nights

And yes… we addressed the very serious topic of whether pineapple belongs on pizza. (I stand firm. No! Bryan continues to be incorrect… lol)

But underneath the fun, something deeper kept hitting me.

We’ve been the couple entering this competition.
