I’m so glad you’re here.

If you’ve ever looked back on a moment in your life and wondered what might have been, or if you’ve ever held onto hope even when everything told you not to, then you’ll feel right at home here. This space was created with you in mind.

Second Chance on Love isn’t just a website. It’s a beginning. A gentle unfolding of stories—mine included—that speak to what it means to be lost and found, to be heartbroken and hopeful, and to discover that sometimes love shows up again when the soul is finally ready.

My story starts in 1985, at a high school dance in Alaska. I was fifteen. Bryan was seventeen. We danced, we laughed, we wrote letters, and we lost touch. Life pulled us in different directions. There were years of silence, separate lives, other relationships, heartbreaks, and growth. Then, decades later, the impossible happened. We found our way back to each other. What began as a teenage connection somehow became the love of my life, thirty-some years later.

The full story is coming soon in the form of a book—part true story, part nostalgic fiction—co-written with bestselling author Tricia Goyer. It’s heartfelt, messy, and a little bit magical, rooted in real-life details from our past. You’ll find cassette tapes, jelly shoes, missed phone calls, misunderstandings, and a reunion neither of us ever expected.

Alongside the book, we’re preparing to launch a podcast that will feature real stories from other people who have also experienced second chances in love. The one that got away. The “almost” that became a forever. The friendships rekindled. The heartbreaks that turned into healing. These are the stories that remind us we’re not alone in what we’ve felt or hoped for.

But more than anything, this is a place to come back to yourself. A place to remember that it’s okay to want love again. That you’re not foolish for believing in timing, or second chances, or quiet miracles. That even if your story hasn’t turned out the way you thought it would, it’s not over yet.
